Moonshot Edge: Who Is Building the Future in Space? Space X and Other Space Stocks!

The future of space is no longer science fiction.

It is becoming an economy.

For decades, space was dominated by governments, astronauts, and national agencies. Today, a new generation of companies is transforming space into a commercial ecosystem that includes launch services, satellite communications, Earth observation, intelligence platforms, manufacturing, and lunar infrastructure.

That transformation inspired my latest book:

Moonshot Edge: Who Is Building the Future in Space?
SpaceX and Other Space Stocks Building the Ecosystem Beyond Earth

This book began with a simple question:

Who is building the future beyond Earth?

Most investors immediately think of SpaceX, and for good reason. The company has fundamentally changed the economics of space through reusable rockets and the rapid growth of Starlink.

But the deeper I researched the sector, the more I realized that the future of space will not be built by a single company.

It will be built by an ecosystem.

Rocket Lab is building launch and spacecraft infrastructure.

MDA, Redwire, and York Space Systems are building the hardware behind the industry.

AST SpaceMobile, Iridium, and Viasat are helping create the next generation of global communications.

Planet Labs, BlackSky, Satellogic, and Spire Global are transforming satellites into intelligence platforms.

Intuitive Machines and Firefly Aerospace are helping lay the groundwork for future activity on the Moon.

Together, these companies are creating the foundation for what may become one of the most important economic platforms of the coming decades.

One of the goals of Moonshot Edge has always been to identify transformational themes before they become obvious. Previous books explored artificial intelligence, digital infrastructure, memory technologies, and quantum computing.

Space may ultimately become one of the largest opportunities of them all.

Not because of rockets alone.

Because communications, intelligence, manufacturing, transportation, and infrastructure are increasingly moving beyond Earth’s atmosphere.

The future space economy is already being built.

The question is:

Who will build it?

May the Blue be with you.
