The purpose of AnalyzeStocks.com is to analyze stocks and uncover lesser known stocks for individual investors. There are individual investors, and I include myself here, who are looking to learn more about potential companies they are interested to invest in or even stocks that they do not even know existed!
About Me
My name is Chris Connor and I am a Stock Analyst with a Bachelors Degree in Finance/Business from Lamar University in Beaumont, Texas. After I graduated from college, I started my very first site ever: GARPInvestor.com. This was a very basic site where I would write about stocks all the time because I was already managing a small portfolio and this would help me then the same way that it does now. Furthermore, this how I met one of the most important people in my life and also how I got my first job in stocks.
I went to work for a company called Telescan in Houston, Texas. While at Telescan, I wrote for their financial website at WallStreetCity.com. This job lasted until the Internet Stock Bubble burst.
After that, I founded an online game site known as GameOgre.com that is still around to this day. I created Ogreman on that site. That site was founded since video games was one of my first industries covered at WallStreetCity.com. Games were also one of the most popular topics because received many emails on them from readers. The site did quite well for many years, but I also wanted to return to stocks.
I returned to stocks when I got another portfolio to manage and started to write about stocks again. I enjoy finding undiscovered stocks and learning about different technologies. Once I learn about a technology, I try to predict the future for that technology.
