And believe me, there are plenty of those.

At the heart of our extraordinary world stands Triamond, the capital city of Nexoria and the political center of Gothic Gem.
Its magnificent architecture, gemstone treasures, and bustling streets make it a destination unlike any other.
But behind the beauty lies something even more fascinating: power.
Triamond is ruled by three extraordinary women collectively known as the Velvet Extremes:
- Jalava Java, representing the fiery brilliance of ruby red.
- Glacia Gladmoon, embodying the dazzling elegance of diamond white.
- Power Moonshot, commanding the unmistakable power of sapphire blue.
Together, these three rulers preside over a capital where diplomacy, ambition, and extraordinary personalities regularly collide.
Will everything run smoothly under their leadership?
Well, dear readers, if it did, I’d be out of a job.
Eight Gems, Eight Territories, Endless Stories
Beyond Triamond stretches a world of breathtaking landscapes, dangerous creatures, powerful leaders, and ancient mysteries.
Each of Gothic Gem’s eight territories possesses its own extraordinary gemstone identity.
Dragonberry Fields is home to the mysterious Dragonberry Stone, while Hybronia holds the unusual Hybrinite.
The Primeval Wilds, associated with the Emerald, are ruled by Brakkar, whose victory has done little to improve his relationship with the resentful Gorrok.
Over in the Monstrous Marshes, Gator holds the Amber and commands the territory, although Wateeza has made it abundantly clear that she isn’t impressed.
The beautiful Shimmering Expanse, associated with Rainbow Moonstone, is led by Neon Moonshot. Meanwhile, the bitter rivalry between Varg and Talon Moon continues to provide plenty of potential headlines.
Along the Forgotten Coast, Oceanna commands the Aquamarine, but her troubles with Krakkos are far from over.
Then there’s Hotumn Springs, home of the Fire Opal and under the control of the Department of Demons.
And finally, our magnificent capital territory of Triamond and Nexoria, represented by the Triamond gem itself.
Eight territories. Eight gemstones.
And more conflicts than this reporter has notebooks.
Heroes, Villains, Loners, and Everyone in Between
Of course, Gothic Gem isn’t merely about geography and gemstones.
It’s about the people.
Some seek power. Others seek justice. A few simply want to be left alone.
And then there are individuals like Jinx Midnight Janx, the notorious black-market king whose reputation for misdirection makes him a particularly interesting subject for investigative journalism.
With his imposing enforcer Black Sheep nearby, getting an exclusive interview might require considerably more preparation than my usual notebook and magnifying glass.
Then there’s the mysterious Sapphiria Moon, also known as Blue Moon, whose extraordinary companions include a panther named Blue Midnight and a dragon named Azurax.
And somewhere above this remarkable world, the fearsome Swoop watches from his solitary home atop Lonesome Peak.
Personally, I intend to investigate all of them.
Preferably without being eaten.
Introducing the Triamond Troll
Now, you might be wondering what makes our newspaper different.
Simple.
We’re curious.
We’re persistent.
And we’re exceptionally talented at asking questions that make important people uncomfortable.
The Triamond Troll will cover the extraordinary happenings throughout Gothic Gem, from political developments in Triamond to strange discoveries in distant territories.
Expect breaking news, exclusive interviews, character profiles, investigative reports, gossip, humor, and comics.
Some stories will be serious.
Some will be ridiculous.
And some will probably involve someone demanding that we stop publishing immediately.
Those are usually my favorites.
Our mischievous troll mascot will be along for the ride, although I’m still determining whether he’s more interested in journalism or causing trouble.
Possibly both.
The Adventure Is Just Beginning
Gothic Gem is a world of extraordinary possibilities, and we’re only beginning to uncover its stories.
New faces will emerge. Old rivalries will intensify. Unexpected alliances may form, and secrets buried beneath these magnificent territories will eventually find their way into the light.
And wherever something interesting happens, you can count on the Triamond Troll to investigate.
I’ll be there with my glasses, notebook, magnifying glass, and an almost unreasonable determination to find out what’s really going on.
After all, somebody has to keep an eye on this wonderfully unpredictable world.
